Readthrough and Auditions for May 2024 play The Mr Misty Mystery

On the 9th to 11th of May 2024, we will be putting on a production of the play The Mr Misty Mystery by Martin Clare.

Mr Misty is the subject of a piece of work being auctioned by an art gallery. Abbey has plans for it and enlists the help of her flatmate, Jess, and two other friends to set those plans in motion. But what are those plans, and will they get away with it?

To find out more about this play, audition for a part, or register your interest in getting involved in one of the many backstage or behind the scene roles involved in putting on a production, come along to our readthrough from 8-10pm on Thursday the 18th of Janury and our auditions from 8-10pm on Tuesday the 23rd of January, both in the Ruscombe Room at Loddon Hall.

In terms of auditions, the parts on offer are:

4 ladies (acting the ages of 25-35)

1 older senior policewoman (minor part)

2 policemen

The director, Jocelyn Robinson, is also looking for an assistant director to be a sounding board for her and to help with rehearsals as required. Want to find out what directing is all about? This could be your opportunity!
