Kids: Your Chance to Get Involved in The Little Mermaid!
We're delighted to offer an opportunity for children to use their imagination and creativity to get involved in our upcoming pantomime The Little Mermaid by designing a sea creature that could live in Ariel's magical underwater world.
Please see full details below of how your child can take part.
Ask your child to draw an imaginary mermaid, sea monster, or fishy friend and to describe it. What does it eat, where does it live, does it have friends and adventures? Please help your child to write their ideas down if they need assistance. Then write their first name (only) and their age on the drawing (e.g. Anna aged 6) before you take a photograph of both drawing and description and email them to info@twyforddrama.co.uk.
Twyford Drama will pick a selection of the most imaginative, creative sea creature ideas, and members of the panto cast will showcase those pictures to the audience at the end of the performances. Children whose picture has been selected will receive a round of applause from the audience and a little gift from us as token of our appreciation. Please let us know in your email which performance you and your child (or children) will be attending.
All the pictures we receive will be displayed around Loddon Hall during the performances, and you can come and find your child’s picture on display during the show’s interval.
Please note, no personally identifiable data will be shared or displayed by us. Please do not include a picture of your child in the photos you submit. Any images considered inappropriate for a young audience, in any way likely to cause offense, or AI generated will not be displayed.
Make sure to send your photos of your child’s drawing and description to info@twyforddrama.co.uk before midday on 15th January 2027 (closing date).
We can’t wait to see what imaginative drawing your child comes up with.
